Light Between the Trees

At one time or another we feel we are lost within the redwoods.  We look around and all we see are tall trees and no answers.  We yell for help, but who is there to hear but NO ONE.  Breathe.  There are those who are there to hear you.  They see you and are here to help you.  You just need to grab a hold of a hand you don’t see, but rather you feel.  There is always a friend nearby but are you seeing the help that is being offered?  Or is pride preventing you from accepting the help you desire?  Angels are everywhere.  They wear uniforms, street clothes, they come in little packages (children) or adult sizes (friends and strangers).  Instead of doing by yourself, accept the advice, listen to your heart, listen to the voice that whispers in your ear….”It is okay.  Really.  It is going to be okay.  Stop worrying and do this….” I am one of those friends, one of those strangers who you walk past every day and ignore the meaning behind the words I type.  Look deeper, walk softer.  Take a moment and realize you are not alone.  There are others who have been through these woods and can help you.  Please know I have had my share of woods and my share of doubts.  I have been down the path you are now.  I have had to experience what you are experiencing so I can come back in and lead you out.  My question to you is this:  “Are you ready to emerge a different person than when you entered?  Are you ready to see the white light that is on the others side of where you are at?”  Are you prepared for a different life or is the white light too scary and you want to stay lost and hidden?  It is all a matter of choice.  We ALWAYS have choices.  Even when it feels as if we do not.  We ALWAYS have choices.  You make the best choice for the time.  Remember that.  No regrets as you did not have more information that what was given at the time.  It is only through living that you may not have made the “right” decision in your eyes at a later date.  But, really.  Didn’t you make the best decision you could of?  Or else wouldn’t you have made the other decision or choice or made a better decision?  Think not where you are, but rather where do you want to be?  Focus rather on where you are headed, than where you are currently.  Keep your eyes focused on ahead, the steps in front of you, rather than looking down.  When we look down and close our eyes we miss what is ahead and the opportunities that can get us closer to where we desire.
